Boom Boom Pow (...am I the only one who can't stand this song?!)

Heyy. Yawn! I am so exhausted, and it's not even ten o'clock. Ugh. I've been so busy, even when I am at home. I really wish I could sit back and rest and really ENJOY my summer to the fullest, but I don't think it's possible right now. There is a lot going on and it's wearing me out, but I don't think there is much I can do about it! All I want to do is sleep, but I can't. There are too many things on my mind and on my schedule. Grr! When will my summer REALLY be summer?!

Anyway. Yeah, I completely agree with you on the Michael Jackson thing, and I am getting very irritated with the media for making it such a huge deal. I already said a lot about this in my last post, so I won't repeat myself! But yes. It's way overdone. Everyone is saying "Rest In Peace", but I'm not sure he is getting much peace, regardless of where he might be!

Haha...okay. I agree with you that it's pointless to get too "involved" with the lives of celebrities! Because there is nothing that anyone can do about another person who they don't even know. But I guess in the same way you are interested in fashion and hair and that sort of thing, I am interested in relationships! (No, not just romantic relationships hahaha.) I don't know...I just like dissecting interviews and song lyrics to find out what is really "going on", even if it doesn't affect me. It might sound a little weird, but...yeah. Hahaha. That's just me.

You enjoy Taylor's voice? I like many of her songs, but I really don't think that either she OR Joe is very talented as far as singing. When he tries to hit a high note, his voice gets whiny, and she doesn't hit the high notes, she just goes louder. I think it's kind of funny! Both of them may be talented in their own ways, but they certainly aren't blowing anyone away with their vocal abilities! Any thoughts? :)

Yes, I heard about the Jon and Kate thing. In fact I have a funny...well, not funny. But ironic, I suppose? Well anyway, I have a story about that! I don't watch the show personally, but once my family and I decided to try it to see what the whole thing was about. So we were watching just a little bit of the episode (this was several months ago) and my dad said, not jokingly, "They're going to end up divorced." He was serious! I wasn't sure what to think, I couldn't really say from watching it, but my dad noticed it right away...and sure enough, it turns out he was right. It's sad when anyone gets divorced, but I think it's very selfish of both of them because, what will happen to their kids? Gosh. It's really messed up. :(

So...sorry if that was a boring post. I am EXHAUSTED and I don't have much energy at the moment, so I apologize! I really need to get to bed. Talk to y'all later!

That was cool to come back and have three posts from you! Thanks! Since I haven't seen the slideshow yet, I am going to comment on post number two, (Forever Better).

Michael Jackson. He was a messed-up person, who was crazy and irresponsible. He was extremely talented, yes. But, still, he did a ton of horrible things and was hardly a role model. I completely agree with you.

Now, about Toe or Joyler, (hahahahaha). I think it is utterly pointless to get wrapped up in the lives and relationships of stars. I don't know if Taylor is a brat, or Joe is a jerk. I really have no idea. Personally, I just think Joe is kind of a wimp and I don't enjoy his voice, like I enjoy Taylor's. But that is all my opinion. And personally I don't really care that he and Taylor broke up! I myself am just not a Jonas Brother fan.

Wow, I didn't know Kevin Jonas was getting married. How old is he again? Hahahahah are you sure the suicides aren't from that? :)

As we are on the subject of celebrities, did you know Jon and Kate are getting divorced? How horrible is that? Jon is the one who wants the divorce, not Kate; I watched their show. It's so sad.

My trip was really fun; we are going back in August with Bradley and Krysta and their family; my mom invited their family because they are 'family friends'. We kayaked and swam and did a four way bike and walked on the beach and stuff; it was soooo fun! My dad and I ended up having this huge splash war on the kayaks, we got SOAKED!

Did you get my email? Wasn't that funny? Hahahaha I thought it was, anyways!

Cross country camp tommorow! It's going to be soooooo hot! Ahhh! I hope it will be fun!

What have I been doing? Well, on the Wednesday before we left on vacation, I went to lunch with some people from summer school. And I went to Serena's house. And then on Thursday, I went straight from summer school to Santa Barbra. And on Fourth of July, we saw some amazing fireworks at the Mission Viejo Lake.

By they way, you never mentioned Democrats in your last post . Whaaaaat? Did you mean to or something?

Forever Better

Allrighty wonderful people out there. This post is going to be strictly MY opinion of the world. Well, at least certain people in the world. If you don't like how I talk about Michael Jackson or Taylor Swift/Joe Jonas or Democrats, then I'm sorry! I am not trying to offend anyone here. ;)

So. First topic is Michael Jackson. I think we all know that he died several days ago, and that was sad. It's sad when anyone dies. But honestly! The media just won't let any of us move on. Turn on the TV? Michael Jackson. Turn on the radio? Michael Jackson. Have a conversation with anyone over the age of 12? Michael Jackson. There have been several reports of people committing suicide BECAUSE of Michael Jackson's death. Look people. M.J. was obviously a huge MUSICAL legend. But let's face it. He was a freak. He was a very messed up man who, yes, was an amazing singer/dancer/performer, but he was NOT an amazing person. People should not be taking their own lives just because someone else died without his choice! When you commit suicide, you are choosing to end your own life. Michael Jackson is believed to have suffered cardiac arrest. I know what that is because my own mom nearly died from it seven years ago. It's your HEART. And you do not control it. But if my mom had died from that, would I kill myself just so I could be with her in heaven? No! I would live the rest of my life to the fullest and hope she smiled down on me. The death of a celebrity is no reason for someone to cause their own death. Believe me, Michael Jackson isn't worth it.

So Blonde, you know how we were talking about the Taylor/Joe thing the other day? (What are they called anyway?! Like there is Niley and Brangelina and all those other famous couples abbreviations...so does that mean that they are called, what, Toe...?) Wow. Anyway, I don't think you can say that Joe is the mean one. I like Taylor Swift, too, but let's face it, she CAN be a bit of a drama queen/brat. All you have to do is listen to her songs. She is ALWAYS the "victim", at least that is how she tells the stories. All of her songs are either about:


a) Her being mad at a guy
b) Her being heartbroken
or
c) Her wanting a guy to notice her.
(and occasionally she will have a song about being happy with a guy.)

In what song has she EVER, EVER apologized?! Um...I don't think there are any. And we all know that "Forever and Always" is about Joe, but it's a pretty harsh song. For example:

Now I'm not so sure

And I stare at the phone, he still hasn't called

So, she is the victim here? Apparently so. And that might be true, but she really couldn't have been a perfect angel and the big meanie Joe decided it would be fun to break her heart. Let's take a look at Joe's response to her, called "Much Better."

And all the tears on her guitar
I'm not bitter



They said in an interview and in their lyric book that this song started out as a story about one specific person, but they ended up making it a sort of song for their fans. That's why the rest of the song obviously has nothing to do with Taylor. And also, if you've actually listened to "Much Better" and not just read the words, you will have noticed that it is a very fun, energetic, but sweet song, and Joe does not sound in the least bit angry or as he said, bitter.

To further prove my point that Taylor can be a bit of a, um, brat, let's take a look at some of her other song lyrics.

Yeah...the rest of the song is pretty mean too. But the point is that Taylor obviously takes blows pretty hard, and she tends to blame other people. Ugh there is someone I know who is like that, always the victim, and believe me it's insanely irritating. BUT all I am saying is that we need to take what Taylor says with a grain of salt.

I'm wondering why you said that you "hate" Joe. Why? Because he and Taylor broke up?! I never thought they were a good couple anyway, and it definitely didn't work out. So we can't blame him. A relationship calls for two people to put in equal input, and a breakup needs to be between two people, for whatever reason.

Those are some of my ramblings of the day! I am almost finished, don't worry. ;)

Has everyone heard?! Oh my Jonas! Everyone knows who the Jonas Brothers are, but there are bound to be a few broken hearts this week. Why? Because Kevin Jonas is officially engaged! I am so happy for him and I think it's great that he is willing to make the commitment of marriage to, quote from him, "the most amazing girl in the world." How sweet! Congratulations, Kevin and Danielle!

.....Hopefully she actually loves him and is not simply a) wanting to get filthy rich, FAST or b) suffering from a case of OJD - Obsessive Jonas Disorder. Heh, sorry, a bit of sick humor there! I know she must really love him! :)

Okay, last bit before I go. My video is ALMOST done, hopefully I will be posting it tomorrow. I'm glad that some of you voted! I hope you like it when it's completed! I've worked really hard on it...so if you don't like it then, um, just pretend to.

Okay, looks like we have some big news: "Collision", our blog, officially has another follower! THANK YOU, THANK YOU to Emilyexplosiveee (cool name, hahaha!) for taking a chance on our humble blog! Should I introduce us? My name is Brunette (well, it's not my real name haha) and Blonde (once again, not a real name) is a friend of mine who agreed to do this blog with me as part of a new years resolution. It's a long story but you can read the first few posts to understand why this was created! Basically we are two teenage girls who have a lot to say. Sometimes we just write about our day, but other times we have *cough* deeper discussions. Hahaha! So stay tuned and hopefully you will enjoy Collision!
