Forever Better

**HA! I mixed two song titles mentioned in this post to come up with something else! Brilliant!**

Allrighty wonderful people out there. This post is going to be strictly MY opinion of the world. Well, at least certain people in the world. If you don't like how I talk about Michael Jackson or Taylor Swift/Joe Jonas or Democrats, then I'm sorry! I am not trying to offend anyone here. ;)

So. First topic is Michael Jackson. I think we all know that he died several days ago, and that was sad. It's sad when anyone dies. But honestly! The media just won't let any of us move on. Turn on the TV? Michael Jackson. Turn on the radio? Michael Jackson. Have a conversation with anyone over the age of 12? Michael Jackson. There have been several reports of people committing suicide BECAUSE of Michael Jackson's death. Look people. M.J. was obviously a huge MUSICAL legend. But let's face it. He was a freak. He was a very messed up man who, yes, was an amazing singer/dancer/performer, but he was NOT an amazing person. People should not be taking their own lives just because someone else died without his choice! When you commit suicide, you are choosing to end your own life. Michael Jackson is believed to have suffered cardiac arrest. I know what that is because my own mom nearly died from it seven years ago. It's your HEART. And you do not control it. But if my mom had died from that, would I kill myself just so I could be with her in heaven? No! I would live the rest of my life to the fullest and hope she smiled down on me. The death of a celebrity is no reason for someone to cause their own death. Believe me, Michael Jackson isn't worth it.

So Blonde, you know how we were talking about the Taylor/Joe thing the other day? (What are they called anyway?! Like there is Niley and Brangelina and all those other famous couples abbreviations...so does that mean that they are called, what, Toe...?) Wow. Anyway, I don't think you can say that Joe is the mean one. I like Taylor Swift, too, but let's face it, she CAN be a bit of a drama queen/brat. All you have to do is listen to her songs. She is ALWAYS the "victim", at least that is how she tells the stories. All of her songs are either about:


a) Her being mad at a guy
b) Her being heartbroken
or
c) Her wanting a guy to notice her.
(and occasionally she will have a song about being happy with a guy.)

In what song has she EVER, EVER apologized?! Um...I don't think there are any. And we all know that "Forever and Always" is about Joe, but it's a pretty harsh song. For example:

Now I'm not so sure

So, she is the victim here? Apparently so. And that might be true, but she really couldn't have been a perfect angel and the big meanie Joe decided it would be fun to break her heart. Let's take a look at Joe's response to her, called "Much Better."

And all the tears on her guitar
I'm not bitter



They said in an interview and in their lyric book that this song started out as a story about one specific person, but they ended up making it a sort of song for their fans. That's why the rest of the song obviously has nothing to do with Taylor. And also, if you've actually listened to "Much Better" and not just read the words, you will have noticed that it is a very fun, energetic, but sweet song, and Joe does not sound in the least bit angry or as he said, bitter.

To further prove my point that Taylor can be a bit of a, um, brat, let's take a look at some of her other song lyrics.

Yeah...the rest of the song is pretty mean too. But the point is that Taylor obviously takes blows pretty hard, and she tends to blame other people. Ugh there is someone I know who is like that, always the victim, and believe me it's insanely irritating. BUT all I am saying is that we need to take what Taylor says with a grain of salt.

I'm wondering why you said that you "hate" Joe. Why? Because he and Taylor broke up?! I never thought they were a good couple anyway, and it definitely didn't work out. So we can't blame him. A relationship calls for two people to put in equal input, and a breakup needs to be between two people, for whatever reason.

Those are some of my ramblings of the day! I am almost finished, don't worry. ;)

Has everyone heard?! Oh my Jonas! Everyone knows who the Jonas Brothers are, but there are bound to be a few broken hearts this week. Why? Because Kevin Jonas is officially engaged! I am so happy for him and I think it's great that he is willing to make the commitment of marriage to, quote from him, "the most amazing girl in the world." How sweet! Congratulations, Kevin and Danielle!

.....Hopefully she actually loves him and is not simply a) wanting to get filthy rich, FAST or b) suffering from a case of OJD - Obsessive Jonas Disorder. Heh, sorry, a bit of sick humor there! I know she must really love him! :)

Okay, last bit before I go. My video is ALMOST done, hopefully I will be posting it tomorrow. I'm glad that some of you voted! I hope you like it when it's completed! I've worked really hard on it...so if you don't like it then, um, just pretend to.

I can't believe that you were on gmail RIGHT AFTER I HAD TO GO!!!!! Arrrgh....

English, English, English. Mrs. Daley was not too happy with me today because Em kept whispering this guy's name to me and then I finally threw a pencil at her and...yeah. Hahahahahahahaha. Also, my friends told me I had blue marker on my face when I didn't. Which I didn't find out until after class.

Poor Jasmine. Now they are being mean to her. I came very close to saying, 'I told you so, ' but refrained. She comes up to me and she's like, 'They're mean.' Without missing a beat, I'm like, 'I know.' Haha, well, I mean DUH. (!!!!!!!!)

I love how she puts things because she is from Korea, so she has this broken English that, in some way, makes more sense than other people because she uses words that are simpler and more direct. Like, she says things like that 'I have a lot of pride.' or 'You are very kind.' It's funny, but I like it.

So, I guess they are ditching her and ignoring her texts. I can tell that they are doing it on purpose, because, well, I was with them for the whole Lisa thing. So now she has no friends and is too proud to go to another group. I have no idea what she will do. I really didn't want to offer for her to hang out with us, but she, luckily saved me. She said, 'I would like to hang out with you because you are very kind, (see?), and it's too bad...'

I thought she was saying that because she's not really friends with my group, (especially Emily), so I said, 'Yeah, because of Emily and them....' (very vaguely).

And she's like, 'And I don't really know if I want to hang out with guys anyways.'

Well, I think, in her case, beggars can't be choosers. And I don't mind it at all, I actually enjoy it; they make great friends because they are so un-dramatic.

So I said, 'Oh, I've been having a lot of fun.'

And I tried to come up with a bunch of people, but she rejected everyone, so we will see what she does tommorow. She says she cannot go back to them now. I think she will have to swallow her pride and sit with someone new. But that's just my opinion.

State the obvious Blonde.....everyone who KNOWS me thinks I am weird gosh!!!! Like, got a PROBLEM with it? Cuz if you do have a problem with it then....hmm I dont really know, you could talk to Sam but since hes a vampire and he knows me then he would kill you. So, yeah.

Yes, Marie is twelve but I really dont care cuz I love her to death, she is like my own sister and she is one of my very bestest friends hahahahaha :) She is HILARIOUS omg we have the greatest time you should get to know her! You would love her hahahahahaha :))))

Oh yes, sorry bout that.....I was talking about a different Michael; there were two in my class and the one (Stephen, sigh) left. Oh well. Makes the ride to Biola less nervous.

I got Breaking Dawn from the library -- ahhhh! Finally! I was up reading in my bathroom till 12:30 last night, so this morning was a DRAG getting up....ugh, when will I learn? Well I suppose I will have to get used to it once I get my laptop fixed....hehehe we are so bad. I can't believe how sneaky we are! Gosh.

The worship night with EYG was AMAZING! It was so cool to see all these ordinary teenagers worship God without any other cares. Wow, I was kinda crying during some of it...it was really powerful!

I had SOOOO much fun with you and Beatrice on Friday! We are so nuts -- okay, I'M so nuts. But whatever. Do I laugh too much? Well if I do I really dont care cuz laughing is scientifically proven to be good for your health. So when you are forty years old and pathetically frail, I will be fit as a fiddle till I'm one hundred and four. Maybe even FIVE. Oooohhhh, what now huh? :)
